I researched Ludwig Hohlwein, his poster design, and how his work was influenced by war. I wrote the article “From Retail to Wartime” for this assignment and recreated his “Frau” wartime poster for the cover of the magazine.
The Farrah Fawcett article was written by Paula Newton and can be found on Glasstire.com

Nutella Waffle Crisp Cereal Box Design
Project: Cereal Box DesignCreate a cereal box that represents a flavor of cereal of your choice.I came up with the idea of Nutella flavored waffle crisps (for adults).
My design features an easy pour, air-tight spout and a plastic pull-out handle, as well as a rounded box shape at the top to emulate the shape of a jar of Nutella.
Project: Cereal Box Design
Create a cereal box that represents a flavor of cereal of your choice.
I came up with the idea of Nutella flavored waffle crisps (for adults).
My design features an easy pour, air-tight spout and a plastic pull-out handle, as well as a rounded box shape at the top to emulate the shape of a jar of Nutella.
I hand designed the die lines and used health information based on a similar product that actually exists on the market today.
Disclaimers:
I claim no right to the Nutella brand or logo – I just simply used the same font, not their logo. Images of Original Nutella products are from one of Ferrero’s Nutella websites.
The hazelnut image and heart shaped coffee are also the product of a quick google search but all other photography is my own for the purpose of imitating a common breakfast.
Build A Robot: Dalek Robot
Assignment: Write instructions and list materials needed to build a robot out of items laying around the house. Have someone build the robot based on your instructions in ten minutes or less.
I had my brother build a Dalek robot out of items like a milk carton, cereal box, soda bottle caps, and straws. It took him twenty minutes because he wanted to modify my design a little, and because he was distracted by television.
The Life of Toast: Stop Motion Video
Our stop-motion video is about the short life of a piece of toast.
Nick was the model and we chose music that seemed comical.
I used Adobe Illustrator to draw the emotions of the toast (and evil mustache on Nick).
We used iMovie to put everything together and time out each image.
Please enjoy our comical video!
